Winner 1233 ABC Newcastle Music Awards 2003 for track “Fuzzy’s Song”

AWARD winning singer- songwriter ANOUSHA VICTOIRE will launch her debut EP at SALARIUM COUCH BAR this weekend.

The release has been eagerly awaited following Victoire’s win at the inaugural 1233 ABC NEWCASTLE MUSIC AWARDS in the folk category for her track Fuzzy’s Song.

Titled Off My Skin , the five- track EP features the single Scrubbing Sydney Off My Skin and showcases Victoire’s talent for songwriting and crafting simple, yet effective, music.

Victoire admits that she has anticipated the release for some time and is happy with the results.

“I’m really happy with the new recording and can’t wait to finally share it with all the people who’ve been waiting for it to be finished,” Victoire said.

“I’ve been really lucky to have some excellent people involved at every level of this project and I think that comes through in the sound.

” The EP is the result of six months work in which Victoire co-produced the album with CALF , better known to locals as the lead guitarist of Newcastle band MOUSE MOON .
